I found mention of four LANCE men in this book but foolishly did not copy page 85 which should list the Company JOHN, JACOB and WILLIAM enlisted into on September 8, 1814. I very much suspect all these men are brothers. If my guess is correct we will have found one previously unknown LANCE man and be hot on the trail of JACOB LANCE. We know that the JOHN listed their had a brother JACOB but so far no one has been able to find him.
