I'm not sure where I got the Flanigan. It could have come from a reseacher. Another possibility is that I found something in a census that I thought matched them up. I think your source is more reliable. It might have been because of the area they were all living in. Anna Flanagan was about the right age, her parents were both born ion Ireland, etc. It sure wouldn't be the first time (or the last) that I have been wrong. I do see that Anna Bracken meets the same criteria. This would make her the dau/o Cornelius Bracken and wife Ann of Ireland. Descendants of Cornelius Bracken Generation No. 1 1. CORNELIUS1 BRACKEN was born Abt. 1822 in Ireland (living in Ogdensburg in 1860 - 1880), and died Bef. 1900. He married ANN. She was born Abt. May 1830 in Ireland (living in Sparta in 1900). More About ANN: Notes (1): Emmigrated in 1854 , in Sparta in 1860 - some of their children were born in Ireland. Children of CORNELIUS BRACKEN and ANN are: i. Mary2 Bracken, b. Abt. 1846, Ire. ii. Ellen Bracken, b. Abt. 1847, Ire. iii. Joseph Bracken, b. Abt. 1850, Ire. iv. Martha Bracken, b. Abt. 1854, NY. v. Charles H. Bracken, b. Abt. 1857, NY. vi. Anna Bracken, b. Abt. January 1859; m. Nicholas Berrigan; b. April 1853, NJ (Living in Sparta in 1900 & 1905). vii. Unk Bracken, b. Abt. 1861. viii. John E. Bracken, b. January 1863, NJ. ix. Robert Bracken, b. Abt. 1866. x. Cornelius Bracken, b. Abt. 1868. BTW, the obits are now posted. I think the web site has been fixed and all the links are working.
