This was Captain William SWAYZE's Company of Infantry; Second Regiment New Jersey Detailed Militia, Jacob,John and William Lance were listed as Privates who enrolled on September 8, 1814 and Discharged on December 7, 1814. Best, Bob Smith Port Murray, NJ By the way, there was also Abraham LANCE who was in Captain James WILLIAMSON's Company of Infantry, Major Isaac ANDRUSS' Detachment New Jersey Detailed Militia. He was a private enrolled August 17, 1812 and discharged September 25, 1812.
