From the Sussex Independent, Thursday, May 14, 1936 John A. HENDERSON John A. HENDERSON, of Hardyston.ville, near Franklin, a retired dairy farmer, died at his home there Tuesday night, after an illness from complications. He was seventy-seven years old. For many years he operated a farm in Hardyston township. He was born in Allamuchy a son of Mathias and Sarah DUNN HENDERSON. His father was from Stockholm and his mother from Allamuchy. Besides his wife, Elizabeth CRABTREE HENDERSON, he is survived by three sons and three daughters, Mathias, of Franklin; Elifes and Ismael J., of Hamburg; Mrs. Elsie TEETS and Mrs. Sarah J. HENDERSON, both of Hambrug, and Mrs. Frances HAZARA, of Allamuchy. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Eliza FERGERSON, of Paterson, and Mrs. Katherine WEAVER, of Butler. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the home at 1 o'clock, with Rev. Truman A. KILBORNE, pastor of the Hamburg Presbyterian Church, officiating.
