    3. Abstracted from the Sussex Independent newspaper dated Thursday, 5 June 1941 (this obit has first two lines missing on my copy) Mrs. (LOTT) SCHUMACHER of McAlister St. Port Jervis, NY. Born 5 Dec 1861 dau. of Mr. and Mrs. John LOTT. Married first Samuel PERRIGO, second to Austin GUNDERMAN and thirdly to Fred J. SCHUMACHER. Member West End Reformed Church, survived by husband, one son, Ira PERRIGO and stepson Fred A. SCHUMACHER, of Port Jervis; one stepdau. Mrs. Fannie CUTLIP of Brooklyn, one brother, William LOTT of Edenville, NY and two half-brothers, Peter and John LOTT of Port Jervis. Buried Pine Hill Cem. Sparrowbush, NY. John Vogler COATES died at home 75 West st. Warwick. Born 6 Jan 1867 in Clinton, Ontario, Canada, the son of William and Sarah (VOGLER) COATES. He married Amelia ECK who died 5 years ago. Since he's lived with son-in-law and dau. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph WELCH. Surviving are 4 daughters: Marion COATES of Pearl River, NY; Alma,wife of Mr. WELSH; Alice, wife of Earl CLARK and Elizabeth, wife of Bertram HALL, all of Warwick and two sons, John, of Newton and Donald of Lafargeville, NY. Was in jewelry business, interment in Warwick Cemetery. William E. COLE, employed 40 years with Erie R.R. died suddenly of heart attack Tuesday night at home, 107 Ball st, Port Jervis. Born in Sparrowbush, NY, son of William and Jemima WINFIELD COLE. He married first to Grace GREEN and second to Anna COMPTON who died last year. Survived by brother George W. COLE of Culvers Lake; half-sister Miss Minnie SHEILDS, of Port Jervis and a daughter of his second marriage, Mrs. John INNELLA, of Port Jervis. Buried Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras. Mrs. Elizabeth B. MARTIN, wife of Clarence B. MARTIN, of 205 Dewitt ave. Belleville, died last Thursday. She graduated Paterson General Hospital's Nursing School and served at Ellis Island Hospital during the World War also at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Other survivors are two sons: David and Robert of Belleville; three brothers: William MCKELLIN of Arlington, Joseph of Plainfield and James of Paterson and two sisters, Mrs. John DECKER of Newton and Mrs. Robert WILSON of Belleville. Mrs. Emma M. HULL, 72, of 104 Woodside Ave, Newton, widow of Charles C. HULL,. died last Friday. Born in Guernsey, England, she came to US at age 7. Surviving are daughter, Mrs. C.A. WALLAUER, of White Plains, a son, Arthur HULL, of Newton; a sister, Mrs. George VANDERBUSH and a brother Samuel CHUDLEY, both of Wharton; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Service by pastor of Newton Baptist, burial Newton Cem. Robert E. STANABACK, 67, retired farmer, died at home in Sussex last Weds. afternoon. Mr. STANABACK was one of ten children of Lewis and Cornelia S. STANABACK. He is survived by wife, Bertha RUDE STANABACK; one son, Leon, and one grandson, of West New York; and two brothers, Edward L. of Newark and Jacob of Franklin.
