    3. Wantage Recorder newspaper published Sussex, NJ dated Friday, 13 Feb 1920 Mrs. Jeanie WATKINS, wife of Charles H.WATKINS, plumber of Newton, died last Friday of pneumonia, aged 52. She is survived by husband and two daughters: Mrs. John SMALLEY of Newark and Miss Elsie of Rahway. Burial in Newton Cemetery. Mrs. Rena F. DREW, wife of Theodore DREW Jr. of Vernon, died Saturday, Feb. 7th at home. Mrs. DREW is survived by husband and six children, by her mother, Mrs. Grace (HAMILTON) LAWRENCE; by sister Anna, wife of Linn HOCKENBERRY of Wantage. She was aged 34 years, 7 months and 6 days. Burial in North Church Cemetery. Sheridan DEPEW died last Friday at home near Wantage Church. He was son of James and Rosella (BROWN) DEPEW and is survived by his wife who is ill in Port Jervis; by his mother and also by brother Orville DEPEW and Mrs. William VanAIKEN, of Yonkers, NY. He was 34 years and 8 months, burial in Deckertown Union Cemetery. Mrs. Jacob M. DEMAREST died Tuesday at home in Brooklyn of pneumonia. She was daughter of the late Bradford ARMSTRONG, born in Lafayette. She is survived by husband and children: Deputy County Clerk Harry DEMAREST, of Newton; Calvin, of Brooklyn; Obadiah of Holyoke, Mass.; Cleveland of New York City; Mrs. Henry SEELEY; Mrs. Arthur VALCHER and Mrs. Albert S. WEBB of Newark, Burial in Newton Cemetery. Benjamin VanORDEN died Sunday Feb. 8th at home near Central schoolhouse in Wantage aged ?? years, 9 months and 15 days. Survived by wife and following children: Ida, widow of George H. SWARTS; Fred, of Hamburg; Nelson, of Branchville; Minnie, wife of Charles ROBBINS; Raymond and Seymour of Wantage; Benjamin E., of McAfee; Mrs. Bert WILSON of Lewisburg; Miss Anna at home. A son, Lewis, died Friday, Feb. 6th. Burial at Clove Cemetery. Mr. _______ REILLEY, aged 74, at home in Sussex Borough of pneumonia. His wife died a few years ago. He was an employee of Lehigh & New England R.R.; survived by five children: Miss Mary of Greenville; Mrs. Julia MacAVOY of New York City; John M., of Montclair; and Mrs. James MORRISON of Westtown, NY; by one brother, William REILLY, of Newburgh. Requiem High Mass, burial in a cemetery near Warwick, NY. Lewis J. VanORDEN died Friday Feb. 6th of pneumonia; at home in Wantage aged 39 years and 20 days. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin VanORDEN and is survived by his wife, formerly Jennie WILSON; and two children: Mildred and Dorothy; also by mother, brothers and sisters: Fred of Hamburg; Nelson, of Branchville; Raymond and Seymour, of Wanatge; Benjamin of McAfee; Mrs Geo. SWARTS, Mrs Charles ROBBINS and Mrs.Bert. WILSON of Wantage; Miss Anna of Franklin. Interment in Fairview. Royal H.MOORE Jr. died on Friday Feb. 6, at home in Frankford Plains, NJ of pneumonia. He was born at Ridgebury on 31 Masr 1899, son of Royal MOORE and the late Mary E. WATKINS MOORE. Survived by wife, Marion, of Frankford Plains; father and step-mother of Middletown, NY also nine brothers and sisters: Mrs. C.E. MATHER of Ridgebury; Mrs. George R. DECKER, of Pellettown; Mrs. A. B. PALMER, of Elizabeth, NJ; George H. MOORE of Pellettown; Fred MOORE of Newton; Mrs. W. J. SMITH of Westtown, NY; Mrs Judson K. KELLEY of Pellettown and Misses Emma and Isabelle at home. A brother, Ralph W., died 15 Nov 1917, serving his colors in France. Also surviving is four step-brothers and -sister: Jesse FERGUSON of Ellicott, NY; Harry E., of Branchville; Frank, of Unionville and Nellie at home. Burial in Frankford Plains cemetery. William DECKER, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James DECKER near Beemerville on Saturday from pneumonia. April 14th was to be his 27th birthday. Besides parents, one brother Harry Smith DECKER and one sister Anna E. DECKER survive him. Service Presbyterian Church in Beemerville, burial in Branchville cemetery. Seth HOCKENBERRY died on Weds. at home of Mrs. George A. DECKER aged 79 years, 10 months and 19 days. He was son of Alfred and Ketura (HOWELL) HOCKENBERRY, born in NJ. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Flora DECKER of Unionville and one son, Edward, of Wantage. His wife died many years ago. Also survived by two brothers: Peter W. of Wantage and Floyd; also by one sister, Mrs. Louis DECKER of Sussex. Burial in Beemerville cemetery. Mrs Lydia Owens SPARGO, wife of James SPARGO, died Weds. at son, Benjamin's, home near Woodburne aged 83. She was daughter of Mr. and Mrs David OWENS and married first to Samuel PERRY after his death she married James SPARGO who died several years ago. Survived bu three children of first marriage: Jennie, wife of Zera E. SMITH and Etta, wife of Alanson MAXWELL of Wantage; Samuel PERRY of Sussex and one son, Benjamin SPARGO of Wantage. Also by a sister, Mrs. Arthur DEWITT of California; and brother, Coe OWENS, of Pine City, NY. Mrs Louis BENJAMIN who died three years ago was a sister to her. Burial at Fairview cemetery.
