http://blackader.library.mcgill.ca/countyatlas/default.htm ... this is another Canadian site that lets you search surnames, tells you what township that person owned land and in most cases, shows you on a map where they owned the property. It's not for the earliest generations, but may help in identifying subsequent ancestors. Good luck.
