Ann, Sorry for the lengthy delay in getting back to you. I don't have a lot of Washer history. My Great-grandmother was a South who married a Grover. She had an aunt, Anna Mary South, daughter of Isaac South and Margaret (Schoonover, or Savacool0. Here's what I have in the tree. Nellie was a cousin to my GGM Rose South Grover and they were raised together along with Mildred Emery, daughter of Martha and John Emery. Nellie was married to the former Sheriff Cooper of Sussex County. Carl Washer was last living in Kearny NJ at 472 Chestnut Street up until a few years ago. I do not know if he is still alive. The house has been sold and I haven't had contact with them in the last 5 years or so. Carl was the illegitimate child of Roberta, the sister of Roberta. The Cooper family still resides in Sussex Co.
