Karen, Thank you for sharing this. I did quickly check my folder about the marriage of Hugh McDanold Struble. It is listed on the marriage return for Andover for 1 July 1876-1 July 1877. Date May 30, year looks like 1871, probably the top of the 7 just doesn't show. The marriage took place in Stanhope with Rev. Mr. Crane of Stanhope officiating. Hugh McD Struble residence Andover is listed as a single 27 year old physician. His parents aren't listed. Emma McConnell, the bride, is listed as 18 and single, parents A. C. McConnell. That is for Aaron C. McConnell. Then elsewhere I have listed Emma as Mary E McConnell. She had a sister Eliza J and an older half brother George who died abt 1854. I have Eliza J McConnell b Feb 1858 and Mary Struble, widow b July 1859 living in Orange County in 1900. I have no idea whether this Mary E Struble is the same one who witnessed the Hosking - Struble marriage later. I can't remember whether Mary Emma and Hugh had children. I have thought that if they didn't, it would be nice to found out what happened after both had died. I have never figured out who all the siblings of their father Aaron were and thought it would be nice to find probate records listing them. It will take me a little while to look through my old notes, which is why I have left that for last.
