Hope you find someone connected to your George - there are some good family biographies in the Sussex County Library - (my specific notes are buried in boxes - but can be retrieved eventually.. ElinPerlich >Subject: Beemer(ville) I am in Vancouver WA, others of this family are in Ill, Arkansas, SanFransisco Bay and SanDiego area, and some still in Newton, Pa. Elin, I have some information on the children of Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Spangenburg) Beemer who left Sussex Co NJ and settled in Newton Twp, Lackawanna Co PA. I have the spouses of Elias (Phoebe Allbright and Caroline Baker), Jesse (Hannah Jane Van Auken and ________ Osterhourt), Sidney (Cathran A. Van Auken, sister of Hannah Jane, and Ruea Anna Howe), Luretia (William Collum and Benjamin Place). Can you add the spouses of the other children, namely Alexander, Martha, Adam, Jane, Lydia and Amzi? Elias and Sidney died in Newton, PA. Sidney is buried in the Old Beemer Cemetery on the Newton-Ransom Blvd. Elias is probably there also. Paul Thompson
