Ethel, I'm not sure which list you read my message on, so am repling to all of them. I don't have either a Daniel or Frank Cortwright in the right time frame to be the ones you're looking for. I also have a Courtwright/Decker connection that I can't figure out. It's between Jacob V. Courtright , Peter DECKER & his wife Jane Westfall. All found together in the 1850 Huron Co.,OH census. Jacob V. Courtwright was the s/o my John Courtright b. 1774 & married 1797 Sussex Co.,NJ to Mary Clark. Jane Westfall was the d/o Simon Westfall & Esther Brink. Now as for your Nancy Decker, I have two but I have no marriages for them. First I have Nancy Decker b. 1791 d/o Leneert Decker & Eliza Randall. I also have a Nancy Decker who was a grandaughter of Leenert through his son William. She was born 1811. I don't have a birth place for these folks, this was from a file given to me years ago. Now the DeGarmo & Hedglin names are interesting. Do you think Hedglin is a variation of Hegelin? As in my previous post re: Susannah Hegelin & Jacob Courtright? I've followed up on myself & found many Hogland, etc's in my 1850 OH census index CD, some near my John Courtright. Bill DeGarmo has also posted on his line from Sussex co.,NJ to Washington Co.,PA area by 1800. I see lots of tangled line here, let's hope we can sort them!
