Good Election Morning to all! I have a Van Garden/Gorden question. In the Minisink Valley Reformed Dutch Church Records, 1716-1830, I find Antje VAN ETTEN (d/o Cornelius VE & Heyltie WESTBROOK) & husband Jacobus Van Gorden at the baptism of their daughter Heyltie VG. Who is this Jacobus VG? To those who know my narrow minded search might recall that there was a Jacob Van Gordon near my John Cortright 1800-1810 in southwestern PA. John named his first son Jacob V. Courtright c1799 & I've been looking for a namesake. I have Cornelius Van Etten as the s/o Jacob VE & Antjen Westbrook. I have no dates for Cornelius & no other children other than Antje.
