Grant and Rosanna McDANIELS are my GG-grandparents. He was born about December 1860 in Pennsylvania and she about April 1856 in Pennsylvania. They married about 1883 and settled in Schickshinny, PA. I found a Grant in the 1870 Luzerne County, Pennsylvania census: John McDannels (age 60, born in NJ) - Susanah (age 51, born in NY) Grant (age 11, born in PA) Samantha (age 9, born in PA) Also listed in the same house, but as another family are: John McDanels (age 24, born in NJ) - Emiley (age 21, born in PA) I suspected John Sr, Susanah, and John Jr may be part of the large migration of McDaniels from Sussex County, NJ to Luzerne County, PA, so I looked in the Sussex County census for 1850 and found this family: John McDaniels (age 40, born in NJ) - Susanna McDaniels (age 36, born in NJ) Joseph (age 12, born in NJ) Elenor (age 8, born in NJ) Daniel (age 5, born in NJ) John (age 3, born in NJ) Does anyone have info on John, Susanna, or their children ?
