Trying to sort out a family grouping. In the Minisnk Valley RDc records there is a Petrus HOOGHTLING (various spellings) & Maria WESTFALL. So far I've found 3 children of theirs: Lena bap. Apr 27, 1765, Aug 28, 1772 & Willhelmus Jun 14, 1775. I believe Lena was married to Aert BRINK, Abraham to Lena WOOD, & William to Susanna CORTRIGHT (d/o John C. & Susanna Kittle) . Was Petrus H. the s/o Johannes H. & Maretje Hornbeeck baptized May 29, 1739? Who was Maria WESTFALL, there were a gazillion of them, give or take a few. :>) William Hooghtling & Susanna Cortright named their first child Cornelius Brink Hooghtling, bap. Aug 23, 1801. Who was this child named for?
