I'd like to talk with anyone researching the McDANIELS family in Sussex county. Grant McDANIELS (my GG-grandfather) was born in December 1860 in Pennsylvania. He married Rosanna <Unknown> about 1883. I found a Grant in the 1870 Luzerne County, Pennsylvania census. John McDannels, age 60, born in NJ Susanah -, age 51, born in NY Samantha -, age 9, born in PA Grant -, age 11, born in PA Also listed in the same house, but as another family are: John McDanels, age 24, born in NJ Emiley -, age 21, born in PA I suspect John Sr, Susanah, and John Jr may be part of the large migration of McDaniels from Sussex County, NJ to Luzerne County, PA.
