    3. Hi gang I hope I joined the right list. I don't know too much about New Jersey and which county is which but I'm told that my Green's were from Sussex. Samuel Green was a land surveyor who owned a large farm in The Great Meadows, Warren Co.. Samuel Green was suppose to help build a jail (Log Goal) of which 3 of his sons were in because of being loyal to Britain during the revolution. Samuel's sons John(1740) & Adam(1739) came to Canada but I don't know what happened to the other 3. Their names where Daniel(1744), William(1742), & George(1746). One of John's sons John married Mary Davis and had 6 kids. William, Daniel, Hannah, Nancy, Samuel, John. His son William married Christina Markle. William and Christina had 17 children. I am interested in any info on this family especially any info on William and Christina. Janine
