My 3rd Great Grandfather Dr. Cyrus C. Moore was born in Morristown NJ in 1823. As a young child his family moved to or near Decketonn which was Sussex County, NJ. Many people have tried to determine whom his parents were prior to me...all came up empty handed....dead end. Surely there has to be something more to check for him and his parents in this County? Census Records in 1820 and books after that do not help me with this. Can anyone tell me or suggest to me something/somewhere else to try? There were many brothers to my 3rd great grandfather, so surely there must be church records, land records, or something? This Moore family just cannot disappear without a trace in that County. Things or places to try needed that can be done e-mail or snail mail, as I am many, many states away from NJ. Thanks for the suggestions. Pam
