Jacobus Courtright bap. in Orange Co., NY in 1747, married Ann Quick & had 2 children bap. at Wallpack Sussex Co., NJ: Thomas in 1774 & Annie in 1775. In 1782 a Jacobus(sometimes James in the records) is married to Jannetje Van Auken & having children bap. at Smithfield, Monroe Co.,PA. Not 100% sure this is the same man. Thomas bap. 1774 moved to Greene Co.,PA by 1810 married Mary Scott & had 8 children w/ descendants still present there. Looking for any connection to my John Courtright b. 1776 NJ , m. 1797 Sussex Co., NJ to Mary Clark, to Beaver Co.,PA by 1800. Beaver & Green were both formed from Washington Co., PA in 1800.
