Dear Carol and All, The archives of every list hosted by Rootsweb can be accessed and searches by going here - http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl on this screen, put in the name of the mailing list - NJSussex (or any others like NJWarren, Dutch-Colonies, NJMorris, surname lists, etc.) On the next screen, enter the search word/name or date (you will have to check multiple spellings separately as this is not a partial word search i.e. putting in "Dec" will only search for "Dec" not "Decker") Choose a year to search (remember to come back to this screen to check the other years as well) On the next screen, Rootsweb will display the post postings containing your search word - click on [full] to view the complete original posting.....good luck.
