I have found no record to indicate that Levi Ayers was born in 1762. He was perhaps born about that time period, but there is no proof that I have found to date. Earlier researchers have attached four male children: Levi, Edward, Israel, and Enoch as sons of Levi Ayers and wife Temperance Wicks or Weeks. It is interesting to note that not one of these attributable four sons named a daughter Temperance and at least three of them had several daughters.
