    1. [NJSUSSEX-L] John Courtright & Mary Clark, NJ Bap. in question
    2. Cindy Torres Owens
    3. In researching my John Courtright I have found several references to his wife as being Mary Clark. I know a John Courtright & Mary Clark were married 1797 in Stillwater in Sussex Co.,NJ. As most of you know John Howard Abbott was my first source for this marriage. However I've now found several other references that were written the same time period as Abbott, in other words they were not using each other as sources. So maybe Abbott was completely wrong abt my John, it seems only the ancestry was wrong. My question: IS it possible that the baptism (in 1807) of this couple's child Sara b. 1798 occurred in another church but was recorded in the church of her birth?? This couple had no other children baptised . Thanks, Cindy Cindy Torres Owens cindyo@va.prestige.net http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/o/w/e/Cindy-L-Owens/index.html
