My great-grandmother, Margaret Bradbury, b. 1854 was given the middle name of BROSS. I was never able to learn where that name came from, but recently I found out that there were members of the Bross family in Sussex Co. Does anyone out there have access to the 1840 or 1850 census of Sussex Co.? If so, I'd like a lookup, especially in the Sparta area, to see whether the Bradbury family lived near a Bross family. Margaret Bradbury's father was an itinerant preacher, Rev. John Bradbury. There are no Bross names anywhere in Margaret's family tree. Many thanks for anyone who can help in any way.
