Casper married Catherine Bernhardt, dau of Johan Peter Bernhardt, emigrant from Germany. Both Catherine and Casper are buried in Stillwater near the graves of Catherine's family. Casper died 7 Dec 1784 (stone reading). Their children were named Peter, Abraham, Issac and Margaretta, all born in Stillwater. Abraham Schaeffer married Sarah Armstrong. Peter Schaeffer married Elizabeth Simpson. Margaretta Schaeffer married John Roy. Isaac Schaeffer married Martha Linn. Anyone interested in this family please contact me in private email.
