Michelle, Thanks! This is what has me sooo stumped. I knew abt Mary Clark & John Courtright, several sources have told me that is "my" John. However it seems they were sitll in NJ in 1807 for the baptism of their daughter Sarah & "my" John was in western PA by then. I have good evidence that my John's oldest son was Jacob V. Courtright , his oldest daughter was either Sarah, Mary or Judith. Now that Henry & Catherine Van Gordon are REALLY interesting. There aren't any Henry's or Catherines in my family though. Also the name is spelled w/ the letter "w" which may or may not be significant, since that's the spelling my John seemed to prefer. I feel like I'm doing one of those puzzles w/ no border......Cindy
