To Whom It May Concern: The Orange County Genealogical Society will hold their next business meeting on Saturday, November 4, at 9:00 A. M. A program will follow the meeting at 10:30 A.M. NY/NJ BORDER FAMILIES, presented by Jennie Sweetman. This will be a valuable program for anyone with ancestors who lived in the border area of New York and New Jersey. Jennie Sweetman is a well-known and respected historian, specializing in the history of Sussex County. She has written a history of West Milford Township, has inventoried abandoned cemeteries, has compiled family information on early settlers in the county, and has given countless historical presentations to schools and organizations. Our research room will be open, following the program, from Noon to 4:00 P.M. You do not need to be a member to make use of the wide variety of information available in the research room.
