>From Sussex Independent, April 20, 1900: "Mrs. Savilla Everitt, wife of Robert H. Everitt, of Layton, died early on Sunday morning last, aged 65 years. Deceased had been sick only a few days, and was not thought to be as low as she really was, and died so quietly that the watchers were unaware of the fact that she had passed away. Modest and unassuming, she dispensed her charity with lavish hand, and no application ever met refusal from her hand. She leaves two children, Mary Frances, wife of L. T. Smith of Layton, and J. Elmer, at home. Interment in Laurel Grove cemetery on Tuesday."
