Hi Folks, I've been researching KINNEYBROOK/KENNEYBROOK for some time now, thinking that since the name seems to be of English origin, they were from England. I have heard now of many names, ( i.e. BEEMER/BOEHMER and HOUGH) that were German in origin, I may be wrong. Could they have been German or even Dutch from New Amsterdam? The first mention of one here in NJ is a KENNEBROOK in 1800. And, what is a Palatine? Anne Stephens in a wet New Jersey Researching, KINNEYBROOK, CLAY and TEBO
