Have ancestors William Sanford Decker who married 1st) Nancy B. Little, and 2nd) to Elvira Perrigo (daughter of John and Clarrisa Perrigo who were living in Vernon Twp. Sussex Co., NJ in the 1850 fed census). I am in need of info re: Wm Sanford Decker's parents. Sanford Decker's obituary in Iowa stated he was born 15 July 1815 in Hamburg, Hardyston Twp., Sussex Co., NJ and he died in Jefferson Twp., Poweshiek Co., IA 23 May 1900. It stated his wife, Elvira Perrigo, was from the same area. Does anyone have a connection or is researching a John and Clarrisa (Miller or Conklin) Perrigo? Have recently received some good Perrigo information from Nancy Paschal who researches the Sussex Co., area, but I need more varification as to the parents of my John Perrigo.
