    2. Sussex Independent, Oct. 23, 1903: "Fred Vandruff and Harry Edsall, two progressive Sussex boys, are studying diligently at the Bliss Electrical Institute in Washington, D. C., where they are pleasantly domiciled. They are hard at work, but pleased with their surroundings and prospects in general. We hear only good reports from the boys." "Willard Decker, formerly of Sussex county, is the principal of a school near Mandan, N. D. He has a most excellent position and his prospects are good." "Frank McDeede, son of D. J. McDeede, formerly of Stanhope, is a successful young physician in the city of Paterson. Frank put in the last days of his study in Sussex county while at the home of his uncle, Alonzo Little. He is a careful student and has courage and application, which always count." "Everybody in Sussex knows Moses G. Wright, president of the Harlem Transportation Co. Mr. Wright has passed many summers in Sussex and is fond of the place. On October 7th Mr. Wright and Miss Idah I. Fitzgibbon were married at the home of the bride in New York. Miss Fitzgibbon is also favorably known in Sussex. The kind wishes of their many friends go out to them for a long and happy wedded life."
