    2. Sussex Independent, Friday, May 13, 1927: "Mrs. Frederick W. CULLMER. An attack of tonsilitis, which did not seem serious, caused the sudden death Monday mroning of Carolyn Little Cullmer, wife of Frederick W. Cullmer, of Upper Montclair. A weakened heart was the direct cause of her death. Mrs. Cullmer was a daughter of Mrs. Hester F. Hoag Little and the late Owen J. Little and was born in Sussex about thirty-five years ago. She was a graduate of Sussex High School. Since her marriage a few years ago, she had resided in Upper Montclair. Besides her mother and husband, she is survived by a half sister, Mrs. John E. Meeker, of Washington, NJ. Last year the family built a cottage at Lake Pochung and spent the season there. Mr. Cullmer was at Lake Pochung Sunday. He reported that his wife was ill of tonsilitis, and the news of her death on Monday morning came as a shock to her many firends and relatives here. Funeral services were held at the home, 570 Upper Mountain avenue, Upper Montclair, Thursday mroning at 11 o'clock and interment was made later in the day in Papakating Cemetery, near Sussex."
