Does anyone know why I cannot find/ or where I should look for birth records from Deckerton NJ? At least 2 people I am searching for I know were born there in 1823, and 1826, but to date I can find nothing. What am I missing? Have the records burned or been destroyed? I would venture they were Presbyterian or Methodist church members, or maybe even baptist, as one was a baptist minister (Eugene) during his life. I am looking for the names of Eugene Moore - born in Mar-Apr. of 1826, and C.C. or Cyrus C. Moore - Born 1823. Parents were Benjamin G. Moore and Mary/Polly B. (Cone) Moore. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Pam
