I am looking for relatives of the Shaw family from North Jersey. The Vernon area, Stillwater, Canistear, and also Orange County, N.Y. Some family members are Moses, Reuben, Thomas, Andrew and George. I have two early Lantermans from Northwest New Jersey who married Shaws, moved to Mandan, ND and then to California. Also one 20th Century Lanterman who married a Shaw in California who was from Seattle, WA. William Alton Lanterman [L864] (1854-19250 m. 24 Mar 1885 Harriett Maria Shaw, dau. of Benjamin Shaw & Betty Lumb. Georgia Greenwood Lanterman [L879] (1861-18790 m. 15 May 1888 Benjamin Whitworth Shaw (1858-1940), brother to Harriett. Our daughter Jane Elizabeth Lanterman m. 28 Sep 1885 George Spencer Shaw, son of Kenneth Shaw & Helen Kennison of the State of Washington. Robert S.
