(1) 26 Feb 1813, in Sussex County, NJ, Miriam Rorick, (daughter of Gaspar Rorick and Elizabeth Masseker), m. (2) Belinda Doty. Thomas died 4 Sep 1871, Otoe County, NE, buried: Camp Creek Burying Ground, Otoe Co., NE. Died while visiting son, Solomon, in Otoe County, NE. Children by Miriam Rorick Solomon Van Sickle b. 16 Nov 1816. Michael Van Sickle. Jane Van Sickle. William Coe Van Sickle b. 1821. Children by Belinda Doty:) Mary Van Sickle. Phinney Van Sickle. Catharine Van Sickle. William Coe Van Sickle b. 1821, Wantage, Sussex County, NJ, m. 1851, Emily Northrup, b. 1824, d. 1909. William died 1909. Fought at Gettysburg during Civil War, wounded three times during the war. Children: Carrie Van Sickle b. 13 Nov 1859. William C. Van Sickle. Charles Van Sickle. Emmet Van Sickle. Carrie Van Sickle b. 13 Nov 1859, m. 14 Aug 1884, John Coulter, Jr., (son of John Coulter and Jane Thompson). Carrie died 28 Jan 1890. Children: William John Coulter b. 20 Jan 1890. William John Coulter b. 20 Jan 1890, m. 19 Aug 1913, in Huguenot, Orange County, NY, Elizabeth M. Martin, (daughter of George Emmett Martin and Carrie Shimer). W.J. Coulter published articles on Sussex County history in "The Wantage Press." He also published, in 1955, a book titled "History of the First Baptist Church of Wantage, Sussex, New Jersey."
