Hello all, This is my first posted message to the group. I appreciate all the contributions that have come through. No one has yet mentioned the surnames I am searching. Mainly PERRIGO/PERREGO, (but also spouses, LITTLE, WIGGINS, RIGGS, WASHBURN, TOWNSEND researchers may hold information). The sure time frame in Sussex Co. is 1790's to 1860's. After that everyone (that I already I know about) had migrated to OH, NY, PA, IN or IA. Bible records state that the ancestor was Joseph Perrigo b. 1745. Family notes say he died at the home of his son, Joseph II in NYC at the age of 90. Harold Mason has said New Jersey didn't start keeping records of births and deaths until 1848. Has anyone posted the death vital records since 1848? Does anyone know of churches recordings or cemeteries postings with the PERRIGO/PERREGO surnames? Greta Olsen in Berkeley California.
