This is not an e-mail address. For some unknown reason I have been typing the address once correctly, after I hit send the address has double when it is received on the web. Answer: Type the address in your window once ending with the first msn.com Also you may need a hotmail or yahoo address to access as well. I know yahoo is free. Hotmail use to be free, I don't know if it still is. I'll repeat the address just in case it will not double on me upon sending. Cathy, I haven't lived in Hackettstown in years, but believe there have been one or two books written about the case. She was strangled at or by the college. If anyone is interested in her I will see if I have any info on the case. Also, Cathy, if you are reading those microfilms and come across either a Beaty/Beatty, Thomas or Lomerson freezing to death along the railroad tracks between Stanhope and Hackettstown, I would be interested. In fact, anyone who froze to death along those tracks. He supposedly froze during a blizzard. This is a story that came down thru the family, but I haven't proven it yet. Anything appreciated, Pat ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com.

There is a 3 roll microfilm index of the East Jersey deeds. The Dallas, TX Public Library has the microfilm. I do not know what other library has the microfilm. I have done a lot of research on land records in morris, essex, bergen and passaic deeds 1785+ and did not find this index to be helpful for my families to trace -1785. The best info I have found -1785 is when property is sold+1785 and it describes the earlier transaction before -1785.
