Good day to the list, I hope I have the correct people. I have come into some information that my gg grandfather James GANNON ran transports on the Raritan Canal. The time period would be at least 1857 - 1859 He married a Mary Dolan in Fairmont Philadelphia Pa in 1857 and had a child in 1859 Can anyone verify that a James or John Gannon was involved with the Canal in that time period?
