This is our first request, under this web site, for help from any dedicated genealogy worker out there. We are looking for the parents of Samuel Moore who was born on Sept 6, 1788 in either Hunterdon or Somerset County, NJ. It's recorded he fought in 1812 war from 9/4/1813 to 3/2/1814 under Capt. Andrews He moved to Ohio in 1815/16 bought property in Batavia and married Rachel Ewing in Green Township (Zenia), Ohio Oct. 10, 1816. Your help would greatly be appreciated. Jim Moore
