    1. Margaret PERRINE and Joseph CAIN,Bound Brook 1700's
    2. Burnett H. Cain
    3. Hello List Members, I have been researching my husband's CAIN ancestors who were in New Jersey in the mid 1700's. I have just discovered that Joseph Cain(Rev War Veteran) married Margaret PERRINE of Bound Brook about 1790. I believe that Joseph was the son of Walter and Maryanna Cain who died in Amwell Twp.and had Wills probated abt. 1778 and 1791 in Hunterdon Co. Their children were Margaret,b.abt.1791,James,Joseph,b.1794,and Eliza. We descend from Joseph,b.1794;who served in the War of 1812.He married Polly "Mary"SAYRE July 14,1832 in Springfield Presbyterian Church,Springfield,NJ.They lived in Bridgewater Twp. They are buried in Bound Brook Presbyterian Cemetery.Joseph died 1866 and Mary in 1893 I would like to hear from anyone researching the PERRINE or CAIN descendents or anyone with information on these ancestors. Margaret Perrine CAIN died in 1858 and is buried in the Bound Brook Presbyterian Cemetery. There is also a Sarah, wife of James who died 1835 at 26 years of age,and a child Mary age 7,who died in 1843.I have no idea who her parents were. I have very little information on the Cain's and Perrine's and will appreciate any and all assistance. Will be happy to share what I do know of these ancestors. Thank you, Barbara Cain Brielle,N.J.
