Hello, I am looking for any information on Polly CONKLIN who married Brooks SAYRE,son of Isaac SAYRE Jr. and Elizabeth ROLL. Brooks and Polly Conklin Sayre's daughter Polly (Mary)SAYRE was born in 1814.She married in the Springfield Presbyterian Church 1832,Joseph Cain,s/o Joseph and Margaret Perrine CAIN. Joseph Cain and Polly Mary Sayre Cain's children were: Joseph Cain Jr. b.abt 1833;served in Civil War,m.and lived and died in Newark,NJ.Worked as carpenter. Margaret A. Cain,b.abt.1834.Married 1853 David CAMPBELL,s/o Edward Campbell. George Washington Cain,b1835;married Harriet Hoffman. Both are buried in Springfield Presbyterian Cemetery,Springfield,NJ William Ross CAIN,b.1849,married twice buried next to brother George Cain,Springfield Cem.1st wife LAURA. lived in Summit and had son Isaac Cain and other children unknown to me. Kennedy Martin Cain, lived in Newark,also a carpenter,wife unk. Henry Clay Cain,moved to Nebraska and d.abt 1914,single Bryan Remer CAIN James Brooks Cain Susan Adelaide Cain,1855-1934 Buried Bound Brook Cem. with parents.
