I'm becoming weary with names and dates, and would like to learn more about the daily life of my ancestors who lived in this area of NJ from about 1700 to the mid to late 1700's. Of most interest would be the type of homes, clothing, social activities, everyday life of families both rich and poor. Did most people live on farms or in villages and towns and who lived a better life? Or was it more a matter of difference than of quality? What I'm asking then, could someone suggest a book or website where such information could be found? Or is there someone on the list knowlegable enough and willing to discuss these issues? Thank you, Jill Knitl
