Can anyone tell me where I need to write to find out about a Revolutionary War Record in the state of New Jersey? I wrote the US government and they said that I had to write the state. I have found his name listed in the archives as having fought in the Rev War. I'd like to know if a pension was applied for/received and was hoping there might be some paperwork indicating other family.
