I recently discovered a set of 1873 magazines from Somerset County called "Our Home". It had a biographical article about the Rev. Gabriel Ludlow (23 Apr 1797-19 Feb 1878), who was pastor of the Nashanic Reformed Dutch Church. The article a lot about his career but didn't give much family information. I was interested because he had performed the marriage ceremony of one of my Rappleyea connections in 1822. I found from another source that Rev. Ludlow was married to Susan Rapalje (16 Aug 1798-25 Feb 1863). Does anyone know who her parents were or where she fits into the Rapalje family tree?
