Hi, I am very grateful to have been forwarded the message about "Villages at the Crossroad". There was much info in it about my CODDINGTONS, BIRDS AND GIDDES of the Mt. Horeb, Warren area. I would love to know where this booklet might be available. I would be grateful to anyone who has the booklet if they could check on a few of my mysteries: 1) parents of Charity Smith Bird (1809-1999) - wife of Isaiah Coddington (1781-1862). Also can't figure out the "Smith" connection. 2) parents of Sarah Frances "Fannie" Smith (18446-c1891) - wife of Manning Force Coddington (1838-1913) son of Isaiah & Charity above. 3) parents of Prudence Marshall (1703- ??) - wife of John Giddes (c1700 - ??) of Woodbridge, NJ I was very interested to see mention of Lora & Lester Codington's farm at Mt. Horeb. I have visited Lora (relative of my wife) and she is doing well at age 90 and a member of the Mt. Horeb Methodist church for 80 years! Thanks for any help or suggestions.
