Hello, Following this there is an outline of a family tree. I've had some research done on the ancestry of Aeltje Suydam (ca 1716- 177?) who was the wife of Douwe Ditmars ( ca 1712-1775). They were in Somerset County during their marriage, but these earlier records go back to Flatbush, NY. Families named are RYCKE, HENDRICKSZEN, SUYDAM, DITMARS, WILTSIE, VANDERVEER, VANDEVENTER, VAN DUYN AND RYDER. NOTE WELL: I had the research done for me, so I'm not an expert on these families. My line is only the one that extands from Aeltje and Douwe Ditmars. Also, from Belitje Suydam and Michael Vandeveer. Their dau. Seyje is an ancestress of mine.
