I am researching my grandfather VALENTINE SWODY whio lived in GreenBrook Township from at least 1920 until his death in 1937. He was a retired farmer at the time of his death at almost 100 years of age. He was from Germany either Hamburg or Frankfurt. He married 2x, the 2nd time to my grandmother Fernie Nittinger with whom he had three children. He had several children by his first wife whose name may be either Sarah or Mary. He lists 4 sons by her on his naturalization papers but no daughters. I believe he had some daughters by her also. He and his first wife are buried in unmarked graves at the Coontown Cemetery near Mt Horeb. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with the cemetery? His sons were: William b 1868 in Whitehouse, in 1933 lived at Liberty Corners Frank b 1892 in Coontown, in 1933 lived in North Plainfield Henry b 1894 in Warrenville, in 1933 lived in North Plainfield (died 1991) Peter b 1895 in North Plainfield, in 1933 lived in North Plainfield Any information or advice will be most appreciated Barbara A David
