I am new to mailing lists and I don't know how to post. I am hoping this works. I am looking for information about Joseph Gilbert, who lived in Somerville, Somerset County. I know he was living there in the 1920's as I found him in the census. He was married to Cora and had a daughter Edith. Family "legend" says that he owned a farm there and was murdered in his barn. His daughter died of complications of diabetes. His parents, my direct ancestors, came from Canda to New York in the 1840's.
