Elna, Many of your ancestors will be found in Warren Township (Somerset County) history ....The name sp had several variations with the most frequently found being Giddes, but also Gaddis, Geddis, Giddis. The Warren Township Historical Society puts out newsletters which has contained articles and bits and pieces on Giddes, Smalley, etc. Good luck to you...
