    1. Warren Twp Info
    2. Hi--I am not searching in Warren Twp, but I lived there in the 1980's and recently located a booklet that may be of use to anyone searching for early families in the area. I have Villages at the Crossroads: A History of Warren Township, 1806-1976. This was published for the Bicenetennial and contains 43 pages with maps and photos. Unfortunately, there is no index of names, though there is a great deal written aobut the early families with sone indications of , 'son of..." wife of ....whosse parents were....." The Index Preface An Early History of Warren Township 1 Warren Township Schools 32 Early Industries 36 Warren and the Revolutionary War 39 Warren Township Organizations 42 I am willing to do lookups and photocopies for cost if anyone has interest in this material. I have a scanner and am considering if it would be worthwhile to scan the booklet entirely. Does anyone have more experince than I in this area? I would volunteer to type the whole thing, IF I were a better typist! In any event, I am willing to work with you on this. Debbie Thomas Abudebbie@aol.com

    2. Greetings, I just discovered/confirmed the following information concerning my GG grandmother Helen E Sturgis (1852-1907) of Bernards TWP, Somerset Co., NJ. Helen was married to James M Frost in 1870. Her father was Joseph James Sturgis (1815-1896), son of Joseph Bonnel Sturgis (1770-c1845) and Rachel Reed (1786-c1835).
