Hello, I am not sure if this is the proper forum to bring this up but I have just found out that local historian of Salem County and past Principal of Deepwater School in Deepwater NJ Mary Sanderlin has passed away. I do not have the details now. I am not sure exactly when it happened (within one year). If anyone has her OBIT could you please email me a copy of it. Mary Sanderlin was a distant relative of mine through my grand father Millard Holmes Leuallen. She was also my Principal at Deepwater School. She wrote a book back in the early 60's called "The History of Upper Penns Neck" She has been in the past very instrumental in keeping the history of Salem County alive to everyone. I remember taking trips around the county with her as my principal. She made it so interesting to me as a child. If anyone knew her or remembers anything about her please feel free to email me with your memories. Mary Sanderlin's Mother was Elizabeth Kier (Lizzie) Leuallen/Lewallen. Her mother married a Samuel Urion Freas. They had 2 children as far as I can tell. Mary Sanderlin and her younger sister (Her married name is Nixon of Pennsville). Mary married a Sanderlin of the area. They never had any children. I hope someone out there has her OBIT. I would love a copy. Please forgive me if this is not the correct place to mention this. Just thought someone would like to know. I have better details in my records but it is late. If anyone wants more info on her family line please let me know. Mrs. Robin M. Stinson
