He had four children one of whom was my grandfather Horatio. My grandfather had two children one of whom is my dad, who is also named Horatio Emerson Firth. I knew about Horatio's twin brother Henry, but I didn't know about any other siblings. How many were there and what was your grandfather's name? I found Horatio (Dr.) in the 1880 Federal Census and was surprised to see he was born in NJ. All the other Horatios were from NY. The census also said that Horatio's parents were both born in NJ. Do you have any idea where in NJ? I would really appreciate any information you could give me about the Firth family. Please let me know where to send the letter.
